July – Youth Empowerment & Education
In July, we invest in the promise of youth by addressing barriers to education, enrichment, and mentorship. Across the U.S., nearly 16 million children live in poverty, which is closely linked to lower graduation rates and limited access to enrichment opportunities. A child’s zip code too often determines their academic future. Early investment in education yields a return of $7 to every $1 spent, reducing crime, unemployment, and dependency. Our work includes tutoring, summer programs, and life skills development to help children and teens grow into empowered, capable adults.

August – Academic Readiness & School Equity
August is a critical time for families preparing children to return to school—yet 1 in 5 school-aged children lives below the poverty line, and basic school supplies cost families an average of $890 per child each year. Many students begin the academic year without the essentials they need to succeed, from backpacks and uniforms to emotional readiness. Without proper support, they face greater absenteeism and lower academic performance. Our back-to-school initiatives provide school kits, mental health resources, and parent outreach to ensure every student starts the year ready to thrive.
